Winter Bird Walk
Wyman ParkSaturday, February 8
10 am – 11 am
Join lifelong birders and Stone Hill residents David and Alice Greely Nelson as they search for wintering and resident birds along the lower Stony Run.
We could see chickadees, titmice and cardinals … even a kingfisher, hairy woodpecker or white throated sparrow and more – you never know!
- Meet at the baseball diamond on the corner of 37th and Beech Avenue at 10am. Wear waterproof shoes and bring binoculars if you have them.
- Limited to 20 walkers. We’re waiving the fee for our first walk of the year – but contributions would be wonderful!
- RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your space.

Calling all citizen watchdogs! We are looking for a few good stewards to participate in our Adopt-a-Stream program. Workshop participants will learn about Baltimore watersheds, the challenges they face, and how we can help City and County agencies protect and improve our local streams.
After the training, stream stewards will walk their section of stream at least once per month to keep an eye out for any problems and to identify restoration and cleanup opportunities. Please click here to find out more about our Adopt-A-Stream program.
